Town Manager updates council on Route 81 paving schedule and America 250 celebration

Town Manager Michelle Benivegna reviewed her written report to the council. She reported that the Route 81 resurfacing project is on schedule and anticipated to be completed by August 21, 2026; within Clinton, roadway paving operations are complete with remaining work limited to the commuter parking lot resurfacing and final lane and shoulder markings.
Benivegna also provided an update on Clinton’s America 250 celebration, scheduled for Saturday, August 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Post Office Square. She encouraged residents to be aware of paving impacts in nearby Killingworth and said the town will provide updates as needed.
