Northern Humboldt board elects Giannini president, Aaron clerk and confirms 2026 meeting schedule

Natalie Giannini was elected president of the Northern Humboldt Union High School District Governing Board at the district's Dec. 9 organizational meeting. Christine Yannone moved to nominate Giannini and Jamie Bush seconded; the motion carried, 5-0.
The board also appointed Cedric Aaron Jr as clerk after a motion from Giannini, seconded by Torie Moulton; that nomination was approved 5-0. The board voted to continue regular meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m., with closed session at 5:30 p.m.; the April meeting will be moved to April 21 for spring break and the June meeting will occur the third Tuesday of the month.
