County accepts $53,000 STRIVE grant to expand intimate-partner violence interventions

Legislator John J. A speaker identified in the transcript as Mr. Davidian said this is year two of the STRIVE grant and that year one provided $43,000, which was used to train facilitators. He added the county is looking ahead to apply for STRIVE three. The committee approved the appropriation and discussion focused on program expansion and facilitator capacity.
