The commission voted Aug. 6 to forward a positive recommendation to city council for the Attitude Business Park preliminary plat, a commercial subdivision that would split the subject property on 2500 North into four building lots.
Scott (city planning staff) explained the proposal would create two building lots fronting 2500 North and two rear lots accessed by a private access lane; a portion of 2400 North (an old inherited right of way) would be vacated while a private access easement would remain for internal circulation. He said 2500 North is a UDOT corridor, so the subdivision would provide private internal utilities and access improvements while the frontage zoning would reflect the newly adopted 2500 North Gateway zoning.
The commission had no substantive questions of the applicant on the plat and moved to forward a positive recommendation to the city council; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
