He said Bandt Communications installed a radio in new truck #305, the truck received plates and a DOT inspection, and the 410L loader has been serviced and is ready for winter operations.
Walter reported several operational items: the crew completed a Sensible Salt class and received certificates, inmates assisted with painting and brush work for a week, a crossing sign on Maxon Road was replaced after a farmer knocked it over, and the township sold Truck #1 and miscellaneous items on Wisconsin Surplus Auction for $9,100. He also said two new snowplow operators, Paul and Alex Hildreth, have begun training and that he is working with TIORMA on OSHA compliance in the shop.
