Board approves hires and accepts resignation in consent agenda

The Board of Education approved a consent agenda of personnel actions at a special meeting July 28 at Lakeview Junior High School, voting 5-0 with two members absent to approve four hires and accept one resignation.
The consent agenda authorized the hire of Sequoia Marshall as a third-grade teacher at Prairieview; Christina McDaniel as a district bus driver (pending certification); Sladjana Radicevic as a paraprofessional at Elizabeth Ide; and Christina Schutz as a lunchroom supervisor at Elizabeth Ide. The board also accepted the resignation of Skylar McGill, a third-grade teacher at Prairieview. The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Steve Dlugo and seconded by Tiffany Watson.
Board President Brian Liedtke led opening proceedings. The approval was recorded on the roll call as: Steve Dlugo, Megan DuPass, Brian Liedtke, Tiffany Watson and Doug Wiley voting yea; Adam Sage and Darren Spiegel absent. No public speakers were scheduled for the meeting.
