The committee reviewed multiple procurement and contracting items covering facilities, food service, and record management. Doctor White and other staff described a bidded contract with GATT Construction to repair bathroom stalls across the district as part of a planned "bathroom blitz," a purchase order to replace careers library carpeting with vinyl plank flooring to reduce mold risk, and a purchase order with Utility Communications for alarm monitoring to ensure alarms dispatch correctly to PSAP/911.
Staff also reviewed routine food-service contracts for the 2026–27 school year (Tyson for chicken products, Maid Rite for beef products, Dairy Farmers of America for dairy) and several change orders to close out vendors for the 2025–26 year. A purchase order to partner with ScanOptix/DRS Imaging Services to digitize and cloud-host personnel records was presented; staff noted they are piggybacking off the City of New Haven contract. The committee directed staff to move these items to the full board for final consideration.
