Sun Valley council adopts 2015 Transportation Plan with unanimous vote

The Sun Valley City Council voted unanimously Sept. 16, 2015 to adopt the 2015 City of Sun Valley Transportation Plan by approving Resolution 2015-25. Council Member Michelle Griffith moved to approve the resolution; Council Member Peter Hendricks seconded. A roll call vote recorded ayes from Council President Keith Saks, Council Member Michelle Griffith, Council Member Peter Hendricks and Council Member Jane Conard; there were no nays. Mayor Dewayne Briscoe declared the motion approved.
The approval followed a public hearing on the proposed plan during which Community Development Director Jae Hill and Brandon Keller addressed the council and responded to questions from Council President Keith Saks. The mayor reopened the public comment period on the Transportation Plan and, seeing no speakers, closed it before the council moved to the formal vote. The record lists the resolution number (2015-25) and the meeting time as a special session beginning at 4:00 p.m.
