Mike Botelho, reporting for absent Planning Commission members, outlined a proposed resident survey to gather input on planning topics. The survey will be built by Marcy from Southwest, mailed with the January water bills, and accessible via a code printed on a flyer or on the village website. Residents may also request a hard copy at the village office.
They requested responses returned by Feb. 7 or Feb. 14; the council asked the clerk to send weekly reminders to encourage participation. Councilmember Mike Mumper requested a separate, later survey focused on the public safety building so the planning process for that project can proceed without delay; the council agreed that the public safety survey should be separate.
The council approved a motion to move forward with the survey effort. The Planning Task Force and staff will coordinate survey distribution and reminder communications.
