The Lake Bluff ESD 65 board approved a facilities project to repair the front entrance concrete at Lake Bluff Middle School on April 28. Facilities presenter Jay Kahn said the repairs follow recommendations from a recent life-safety audit and that the work will preserve the current entrance aesthetic, including existing planters.
Kahn recommended proceeding promptly to lock in pricing while costs remain reasonable and said the project is slated for completion by June 30, with work beginning after the school year to avoid impacts on Extended School Year and summer programming. The board voted to approve the project during the meeting's action items.
