Selectboard adopts clearer Acting Zoning Administrator policy

Amanda Pitts, Milton's Planning & Zoning Director, presented a rewritten Acting Zoning Administrator Policy that tightens statutory references and spells out who may act when the Zoning Administrator is absent or has a conflict of interest. The board voted to adopt the updated policy as written.
Pitts also recommended Planning & Zoning Officer Vivian Warner as Acting Zoning Administrator; the board appointed Warner pursuant to 24 VSA § 4448 and the town's policy. The motion to appoint Warner passed unanimously.
