The council voted to sell a limited number of Grand Beach parking stickers—priced at $300—for designated parking areas in the village as a one‑year trial for the 2025 season; the decision will be revisited next season (motion by Tim McCarthy; seconded by Mike Botelho).
The council also announced new hours for the tennis and pickleball courts: 9 a.m. until dusk. Police will lock the gates nightly and Public Works will reopen them after morning cleaning. Council emphasized the courts are village property and personal property should not be left in the court area. To address repeated disappearance of village garbage toters at beach stops, the council reported that stickers ordered by Brian Cassidy will be placed on the toters at beach stops in the hope of deterring theft.
