Michiana Tree Board recertified as Tree City USA; Arbor Day set for July 10

Thill said the Tree Board will work with Michiana Day Camp to hold an Arbor Day event on Thursday, July 10 at 10 a.m. EST with a tree planting and an honor guard; residents and families are invited. The Tree Board is also coordinating budget numbers with the treasurer and plans to use inmate crews to remove residual timber in the park garden area.
