The council discussed that HONK would charge a 2.9% credit‑card transaction fee and that the village cost would be $50 per month; HONK will process transactions and remit revenue to the village monthly.
Tim McCarthy moved to proceed and Brian Cassidy seconded; the motion was approved by all present. Council members noted the system can be disabled for village events and that residents with parking tags or golf cart stickers would not be affected.
