Councilmember Mike Mumper reported that Merritt Engineering is working on the project plan for the water project on Creek and that, once federal approvals are in place, the firm will begin the bid process. He said monthly water reports had been submitted to EGLE and staff were performing daily water testing.
Mike and Public Works Superintendent Rick Reitz said a new pump will be installed later this month; Reitz noted that with fewer residents in the Village this season they can temporarily run the system on one pump while installing the new unit to reduce service impact. No contract awards or bid advertisements were approved at the meeting; the item remains in project‑development status.
