Habitat for Humanity's Executive Director Jessica reported to the Ladd Village Board that the organization is exploring a six-home subdivision and that USDA grants and loans may be available for land acquisition and development.
Clerk Rhonda Bezely presented two potential locations for consideration. Trustees discussed the sites and expressed concerns about potential public reaction stemming from challenges with a previous Habitat home in the community. The Board indicated that if it chooses to proceed, it would do so under Council-defined parameters addressing public concerns and suitability of proposed locations.
No formal agreement or funding decision was made Jan. 13; staff and Habitat representatives will continue exploratory discussions and provide additional information if the project moves forward.
