Mike Meeks, lead heavy equipment mechanic, told the board the Bobcat UW56 will replace an existing John Deere mower and a Polaris Ranger and serve multiple functions including mowing, material handling, hauling and site maintenance. The board approved the purchase unanimously.
The approved purchase order is with Doosan Bobcat North America, Inc., via GDF Enterprises, Inc., under Sourcewell Contract #020223-CEC for $83,980.26 plus applicable taxes; attachments listed in the minutes include a 72‑inch mower, a 48‑inch hydraulic pallet fork, and a 62‑inch combination bucket. The motion was made by Commissioner Gravley and seconded by Commissioner Maras and recorded as a unanimous vote.
