Samantha Kirkman and fair manager Jenny Hesse said the fair will add a digital ticket kiosk to speed entry at the main gate while retaining staffed ticket sales. Kirkman noted the county is testing options to reduce wait times, and Hesse described how the trailer’s digital screens will let visitors purchase tickets on site.
"So at our main entrance here, when you come, you either can go to a person and actually purchase your tickets that way, or we'll have an actual trailer that you can go up and it all has digital screens, and you can purchase your tickets that way as well," Hesse said. Officials said the new option is intended to help visitors get in quicker and enjoy the fair.
