Kenosha County Fair set for Aug. 19–23 with family-focused theme

Kenosha County Executive Samantha Kirkman announced at the Fairgrounds in Wilmot that the Kenosha County Fair will run August 19–23 and will carry the theme “fun fun for the whole herd.” She introduced fair manager Jenny Hesse, who gave details about attractions and logistics for this year’s event.
Jenny Hesse said the fair aims to welcome families with a mix of traditional acts and new exhibits. “This year, our theme is fun fun for the whole herd. We’re excited to welcome everyone from August 19 to the 23rd,” Hesse said. Admission will be $12 for adults; $8 for seniors and military with an ID; $6 for children ages 7–11; and free for children 6 and under. Kirkman encouraged residents to attend and preview the fairgrounds upgrades ahead of the opening.
