Town board adopts America250 proclamation and selects historian; code officer vacancy noted

Supervisor Casey Eckler said Otsego County Historian Debra Mackenzie requested a proclamation supporting America250; the board decided to adopt the proclamation and the Town Clerk will prepare it for signatures at a future meeting.
Eckler reported the Code/Zoning Enforcement Officer position will be vacant beginning in 2025, distributed resumes and said a candidate had been selected for her to contact. The board also selected Frank Antonucci for the position of Town Historian and appointed Council Members Sosnowski and Couse to a committee that will work with the Planning Board on short-term rental issues.
