Milford board begins 2025 budget workshop, flags several cost increases

The record does not include specific dollar amounts or line-item totals; board members and the town's consultant, Karen Kropp of By The Books Consulting LLC, were present for the review. Highway Superintendent Billy Sutphin was also listed as attending.
Board members did not adopt a final budget at the meeting; instead they recorded tentative figures to guide further work ahead of the public hearings and possible adoption. The board scheduled two public hearings and a special meeting for Oct. 9 to present the preliminary budget and consider any revisions or adoption.
