The West Bonner County School District #83 board convened a special meeting March 12 in Priest River, called to order at 7:39 p.m. The board approved the meeting agenda on a 5-0 vote and brought old business to the table to discuss levy options. Director of Finance Kendra Salesky briefed the board on expenditures included in the recommended levy line items.
Following discussion the board approved the levy ballot line items and directed staff to work with Hawley Troxell to determine the exact dollar amounts so the ballot totals $2,353,440.60 per year for two years; that motion passed 5-0. The board then entered executive session under Idaho Code for labor contract matters, later voted unanimously to exit executive session, and adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
The public minutes do not include per-line dollar allocations for the levy or the substance of the executive-session discussion. The clerk and chair signatures appear on the minutes; the attendance list records Board Chair Ann Yount as present. A signature block in the minutes also shows the name "Sonja A. Yount, Board Chair" and "Julie Judgb A. Hinshaw, Board Clerk," which appears inconsistent with the attendance roster; the minutes do not clarify this discrepancy.
