Police report: 126 patrol hours and Oblong Books requests South Center Street closure for 50th

According to the minutes, the Millerton Police logged 126 patrol hours and 12 court hours during the period; shift staffing varied by weekday and the department recorded five calls for service inside the village. Chief Olenik noted the department is no longer responding to calls in the Town due to the absence of a memorandum of understanding (MOU).
Oblong Books notified the board that it will celebrate its 50th anniversary and requested closure of South Center Street for a block party. The board forwarded the closure request to Chief Olenik for review and follow-up. The minutes also record Chief Olenik's attendance at a county car-seat organizational meeting with Sgt. Rudin.
