Foundation opens scholarship window Oct. 1; college ties talent scholarships to auditions

JoLynn Carter told listeners the foundation's scholarship application window will run "from October 1 through April 1st" and that Flow Arts students are eligible. Carter said the foundation operates a single application that gives students access to a range of scholarship opportunities, many of them renewable.
Michelle Sjogren described talent scholarships administered by the college separate from the foundation awards and gave an example from her own family: "If you get in, my daughter found out right in the audition, we're gonna offer you a scholarship." Officials encouraged prospective students to apply early and to audition for Flow Arts programs to be considered for talent-based awards.
