- C1 — Required local effort: 3.125 mills (moved by a board member; seconded; roll-call adoption). - C2 — Discretionary millage: 0.748 mills (adopted). - C3 — Debt service millage: 2.261 mills (adopted). - C4 — Capital outlay millage: 1.500 mills (adopted). - C5 — Total tentative millage: 7.634 mills (4.23% above rolled-back rate; adopted).
Fund-level tentative budgets adopted by roll call: D1 General Fund — $131,807,894.73; D2 Debt Service — $20,987,781.95; D3 Capital Projects — $228,189,118.41; D4 Special Revenue — $25,581,155.01; D5 Internal Service — $44,743,346; D6 Permanent Funds — $158,213.07; D7 Enterprise Funds — $27,523,714.58; D8 Total District Tentative Budget — $478,991,223.75.
A motion was approved to advise the property appraiser that the final public hearing on the final millage rate and the final budget will be held Thursday, Sept. 11, 2026, at 5:05 p.m. in the School Board Meeting Room, 200 Reed Street, Palatka.
