The Minerva Central School Board passed two resolutions on July 10 approving cooperative procurement arrangements with Capital Region BOCES. Resolution q authorizes participation in the Regional Food Service Management program and appoints Capital Region BOCES to advertise, bid, tabulate and award bids for cafeteria commodities under General Municipal Law Section 119-o. The board also designated the Daily Gazette as the legal publication for related bid notifications.
A separate resolution (r) appointed Capital Region BOCES to represent the district in cooperative bidding for Health-Safety-Risk Management services (including cooperation with WSWHE BOCES-area districts). Both actions are recorded in the minutes as carried 3-0 and commit the district to abide by majority decisions of participating districts and by the award of the BOCES board.
