Highway Superintendent Jonathan Fish told the board the town has a chips balance of $224,816.74 carried over from last year, with Donnelly Road using 44,356.20 and Hardscrabble using 38,092.60 in blacktop. Fish said estimated labor costs are about $100,000 and proposed using the remainder of the chips balance toward purchase of a new loader.
Motion #147 approved the agreement to spend town highway funds for 2025; the resolution carried by roll call, 5-0. Fish also reported completing three water taps recently and fixing a beach water-line break.
