The Minerva Town Board accepted a bid from Garden Time to replace the bridge at Courtney Park and authorized pre-payment of work with ROOST funding, not to exceed $7,000 (Motion #149). The resolution passed by roll call with all five board members voting aye.
Supervisor McNally and Councilmember LaBar said the town has $160,866 in Roost funds and that the board intends to continue spending on tourism and economic improvements including signs, concerts and Irish Day. The bridge acceptance is the first concrete park-improvement purchase recorded at the meeting.
