Henke said the plan retains the district’s existing mission, vision and values and will rely on verifiable state data to track performance goals, with a renewed emphasis on K–3 reading.
Board members praised the presentation and asked for continued public engagement as the district finalizes year‑one actions and posts progress indicators on a public web page. The plan’s adoption came after public comment and prior presentations during the same meeting.
