Minoa board approves insurance renewals, personnel actions and claims audit

The board also acknowledged the filing of the MS4 2025 Annual Report with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation on March 31, 2026 and opened a 30-day public comment period for that report.
On personnel matters the board approved a hardship waiver of a $225 ambulance invoice. It also approved the termination of two individuals (Stephen Phipps and Daniel Erard) at the request of MFD, Inc. The board approved multiple training requests for wastewater staff to attend the NYWEA Spring Conference and the NY Rural Water workshop (cost noted at $395 per person for the Rural Water workshop). The board audited and approved Abstract #021: General Fund vouchers 848–909 ($256,693.87), Sewer Fund vouchers 295–310 ($28,972.01) and Trust & Agency vouchers 248–262 ($66,233.36). Trustees adjourned the meeting at 6:41 p.m.
"A motion was made by Trustee Christensen and seconded by Trustee Abbott that the claims on Abstract #021 have been reviewed and approved for payment," the minutes state; the motion carried unanimously.
