Centertown clerk, water operator report late bills, a scheduled shutoff and routine water work

The Village Clerk reported Oct. 28 that 'Water bills were sent out on the 16th. They were late due to the setup of a new tablet and merging it with the water software.' The clerk said seven past-due notifications will be sent and that shutoffs are scheduled for Nov. 4; she also said 'One shut off this month. Currently still off.'
Chief Water Operator Kyle Wirts provided operations updates: he reported completing three locates and a disconnect on Oct. 22 and said he would 'put a lock on it.' He reported that 'Radio nuceli cleared,' that BAC-T testing would be completed the following day and VOC testing the day after, and that chlorine had been purchased for the well house.
