Wrenshall updates OSHA corrections; fire department drafting respiratory protection plan

During its June 10 meeting, the Wrenshall City Council reported the city had corrected two of three items cited in a recent OSHA inspection and had paid the required $1,080 penalty.
The Fire Department is developing a written Respiratory Protection Program to address the remaining citation; staff reported the program is due June 17, 2026. Council recorded the corrective actions and the payment; no additional fines or enforcement actions were reported at the meeting.
Council also approved firefighter physicals/fit testing for those who missed group testing and recorded that a student cadet had joined the program.
