Wrenshall’s water operator reported at the June 10 meeting that the Parkwood Lift Station had been serviced and approximately one-third of the city’s sewer lines were jetted and cleaned.
The Minnesota Department of Health completed annual inspections and cited several items; the operator said the findings will be outlined in a written report to the city. Separately, the manufactured-home-park owner is coordinating televising of sewer lines with his contractor and the city’s water operator; the city awaits confirmation of proposed dates.
Council also approved routine maintenance purchases, including paint for crosswalks and curbs and an additional load of Class 5 material for maintenance; staff will obtain cold mix to begin pothole repairs and cameras were installed in city hall.
