Wrenshall staff reported June 10 that a draft utility-services agreement for the Laveau Butcher Company is being finalized by the city attorney and that the council had approved a drafted update to the Capacity Allocation Permit received from Resource Renew.
Council members recorded that Resource Renew will revise the permit if there is a significant increase in city sewer flow rates due to the new butcher shop. The city also noted the required response to an I&I (inflow and infiltration) exceedance in the first quarter had been sent to Resource Renew. Because of these interrelated items, the council scheduled a special meeting for June 22 to discuss the AT&T lease, the Laveau Butcher Company water/sewer services agreement, and Bollig Task Orders #8 & #9.
No final utility agreement or permit revision was recorded at the June 10 meeting; staff said the city attorney is finalizing the service agreement and Resource Renew will consider permit revisions only if flow increases occur.
