County approves recurring Area II river-basin JPA and recommends two for Red Rock Rural Water board

County Coordinator Kelly Thongvivong presented a revised Joint Powers Agreement for the Area II Minnesota River Basin Projects that removes the requirement to re-sign every two years and makes the JPA recurring. Commissioner Larry Anderson noted the change and the board approved the agreement by unanimous vote.
Separately, the board adopted Resolution 25-11-04A recommending the appointment of Mike Carlson and Jay Mickelson to the Red Rock Rural Water System Board of Commissioners (motion by Commissioner Tom Appel; second by Commissioner Donna Gravley). The resolution is on file in the County Coordinator’s Office.
