Cottonwood County sets minimum bid and schedules public sale for tax-forfeited parcel

The board set a minimum bid of $100 plus assessments totaling $9,098.00 and approved a Notice of Public Sale by adopting Resolution 25-11-04B. The motion to set the minimum bid was made by Commissioner Donna Gravley and seconded by Commissioner Larry Anderson; the resolution was adopted on a unanimous roll-call vote (motion by Commissioner Larry Anderson; second by Commissioner Wayne Maras).
The resolution and sale notice are on file in the County Coordinator’s Office. The minutes list the sale date as Friday, Nov. 21, 2025. The board’s action formalizes the county’s next step toward disposing of the tax-forfeited parcel under county procedures.
