Engineer: Well 7 permit imminent; CV 2024/2025 streets projects moving toward closeout and construction

Engineer Adam Bunge of CES told trustees the Illinois EPA had indicated the Well House construction permit should be issued the week of May 26; a final well water quality test for radium and gross alpha will be required to obtain operating permits.
Bunge also updated trustees on the CV 2024 Streets Improvements Project, noting final pay requests depend on agreement on final quantities and project limits and that Rock Roads was being asked to finalize punch-list items and overseed areas where grass failed to establish. For the CV 2025 project, the preconstruction meeting covered timeline and staging; removals were scheduled for the week of June 2. Administrator Jim Claeyssen added that Helm was installing fiber cable from Village Hall to Well 7 and Rock Roads expected all roads completed by June 30, 2025, including Genoa Street.
The engineering report will be placed on file with the permanent record; trustees had no further action beyond receiving the update.
