District asks board to approve $122,821.44 playground purchase for Glendale Elementary

Board members asked whether any of the old equipment could be salvaged—Haywood and others said most was in poor condition and would not be reused—and whether the quoted price included installation (Haywood said the figure covers equipment and installation and that final coordination with the architect and construction manager would be required to confirm fall zones and surfacing). No final board vote on the purchase was recorded during the session.
