Board President Nellie R. Halloran convened the Minerva Central School District Board of Education on Aug. 21, 2025. By motion of board member Hayley Killon, seconded by board member Jessica West, the board approved a package of 2025–2026 administrative items including setting the school tax rate and approving the 2025–2026 tax warrant; the composite motion carried 4-0.
The motion also approved the district-wide School Safety Plan, building-level Emergency Response Plans and the 2025–2026 Student–Parent Handbook. The board tabled action on the Johnsburg–Minerva Athletic Handbook (item f) for later consideration. The composite approval was recorded as a single motion covering items a–e and g–q; no separate roll-call vote details were entered beyond the recorded result of "Carried 4-0."
