The Lincolnwood School District 74 Board of Education voted unanimously Nov. 6 to approve the 2025 Estimated Annual Property Tax Levy in the amount of $29,513,350 and authorized publication of the required Truth-in-Taxation notice. Member Jay Oleniczak moved the resolution and Secretary John P. Vranas seconded; the motion passed by recorded vote with all members voting aye.
Courtney L. Whited, the district's Business Manager/CSBO, presented the Finance Committee's recommended levy. The committee reported this levy represents a 2.90% increase on capped funds and a 4.49% decrease on debt service, producing an overall 2.52% increase from the prior year's extension. The Finance Committee flagged these figures while recommending the district advance the levy and proceed with the public-notice process.
