On permitting for teardown of attached buildings, Nott said a structural engineer must determine whether hazardous materials are present and confirm that removal of one building will not endanger adjacent structures. He said responsibility for exterior repairs to conjoining buildings would fall to the person or entity performing the tear down. Dean Rood asked about easements and whether a structure is listed on a historic registry; staff will follow up.
