Supervisor reports FEMA submission, NYSERDA LED upgrade plans and park fencing quotes

Supervisor Chad Niles told the Town Board that documentation for FEMA Public Assistance PA-4825DR-NY has been submitted for review and that a follow-up meeting is scheduled for April 10. He said work under a NYSERDA grant is ready for LED lighting upgrades in the town offices but noted the ceiling needs spray-foam insulation and tile replacement before lighting installation; Tim Marshall was mentioned as preparing cost estimates.
Niles also said National Grid streetlight billing had been corrected, and that the Village of Brushton’s conversion to LED raises an opportunity to add two street lights in Brushton with no installation cost but with monthly billing added to Brushton’s account. On Cody O'Connor Park, In and Out Fencing, Inc. will not complete the backstop and fencing project; Supervisor Niles said Freedom Fence could do the work and that Josh Barney obtained a separate estimate from Hoover Fencing of approximately $17,000–$19,000 for both fields. Niles and bookkeeper Angela Debeer also noted that State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) annual project-and-expenditure reports had not been submitted for the past two years and that they would handle the 2025 P&E reporting.
