The Moira Town Board on Jan. 14 adopted Resolution #53-2025 to amend the FY2025 budget by transferring funds from the Supervisor's salary (AA 1220.100) to multiple program contract lines: $4,000 to Food Stamp Reach Out (AA 6150.400); $1,000 to Veterans Service (AA 6510.400); $300 to Adult Recreation (AA 7620.400); $900 to Historian (AA 7510.400); and $3,400 to Parks contract expenditures (AA 7110.400).
Councilman Adam Deuyour moved to adopt the amendment and Councilman Frank Snyder seconded; the motion carried unanimously (Ayes-4, Nays-0). The board noted the reallocation was requested by the Budget Officer and will cover contract expenditures already budgeted under program codes.
During board comments, Councilman Deuyour announced a free Narcan training on Jan. 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Adult Center, where a spaghetti meal will be served. The board set its next regular meetings for Feb. 11 and Mar. 11, 2025, and adjourned at 8:22 p.m.
