Moira accepts NYSERDA Clean Energy grants to upgrade town offices and garage

Resolution #187-2024 authorized the Supervisor to reach agreement with NYSERDA on scope, budget and schedule; to agree to terms and conditions with the NYSERDA project team; and to complete contractor certification forms required by New York tax law (ST‑220‑CA and ST‑220‑TD). The Board adopted the resolution by unanimous consent.
Town officials said the upgrades are intended to realize energy cost savings; the Board authorized the Supervisor to negotiate final work terms and certifications with NYSERDA before project implementation.
