The Town of Moira Board accepted a series of 2025 service contracts on unanimous consent, authorizing Supervisor Chad Niles to sign agreements on behalf of the town.
Accepted contracts included the 2025 agreement with Brushton Volunteer Fire Association for Moira Fire Protection Services (Resolution #178-2024), the 2025 contract with Moira E.M.S., Inc. for emergency medical ambulance services (Resolution #179-2024), and contracts with Moira New Hope Food Pantry and Brushton‑Moira Food Pantry for food‑assistance services. The Board also authorized contracts with Brushton‑Moira Senior Citizens, Inc. and the Moira Historical Association (Resolutions #182–183-2024). Each item was adopted by unanimous consent, and the Board authorized officers to execute the agreements.
Board members and staff said these contracts were budgeted for 2025 and are routine renewals to maintain public safety and social‑service partnerships. The Board’s acceptance of these contracts was recorded in the meeting minutes and will be filed with the Town Clerk’s office for public record.
