Village Clerk reported training for new water‑billing software completed with some meters still not reporting; a new tablet (noted at roughly $150 at Walmart) is needed before Oct. 10 to complete meter uploads. The clerk also reported two returned checks (an $8 return fee, both paid) and that past‑due notices were sent with shutoffs scheduled for Oct. 9. Water bills were mailed Sept. 16.
