At its June 25 meeting the Jacksonville School District #117 board approved a consent agenda covering standard district business items. The motion to approve the consent agenda was moved by Mrs. Wilson and seconded by Mr. Lonergan; the vote was unanimous.
Items on the consent agenda included the Treasurer's Report, approval of minutes from the Committee of the Whole and the May 21 regular meeting, adoption of district building handbooks, adoption of board policies, Title and School Improvement Plans, and multiple procurement renewals and bids including a bread contract renewal with Alpha, a milk bid acceptance from Prairie Farms for 2025–26, breakfast and lunch price approvals for FY2025–26, and acceptance of contractor payment applications for JHS roofing and door/security glazing work.
