Village to perform sewer point repairs identified during televising; contractors may be billed later

Village Engineer Brian Nott reported that televising work for the 2025 sanitary sewer lining project identified three locations where service lines had been bored through, including on Grove Street, Lena Street and an area near Sullivan's parking lot. Nott said the village will call JULIE for utility locates, perform the point repairs now, and then pursue reimbursement from the contractors ultimately responsible.
Nott emphasized that point repairs must be completed before the main lining work can proceed. Trustees did not debate the work at length and agreed the repairs should be handled as part of project progress prior to lining.
