Manager Pepper Lockhart said Riverside Park is still waiting to pass a plumbing inspection before opening and noted that the city and fire department submitted a reimbursement request for flood expenses.
Lockhart also distributed a letter she submitted opposing proposed zoning preemption legislation introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives. The minutes indicate the Mecosta County Chamber will photograph Evart on May 22 for inclusion in Pure Michigan promotional materials. No formal action was taken on these informational items during the meeting.
