Lisle Community Unit School District 202 reported combined governmental fund balances of $21,039,443 at June 30, 2025, down $1,553,398 from FY2024, according to the district’s Annual Financial Report. The General Fund's unassigned balance was reported at $14,282,456, representing roughly two‑to‑three months of operating expenditures when compared to recent spending patterns.
The AFR explained the difference between the fund‑level decrease and a $2,847,778 gain in government‑wide net position by reconciling capital outlays, depreciation charges, changes in deferred inflows/outflows related to pensions and OPEB, and long‑term debt principal payments. The Finance Committee reviewed those reconciliations as part of the audited package provided by the independent auditors.
